Yesterday was technically day 1 of the “Big Race” even though we have been racing here for a week. We got one of the two scheduled time runs in yesterday on a rain shortened Thursday. Today was our last time run to get used to the weather and the track. After that it is right into the first round of eliminations. It’s probably the most stressful round of the year. If you lose you start packing up and know your friends are still racing tomorrow. If you win you breathe a breath of fresh air and can relax and socialize before tomorrow’s second round of eliminations and a possible road to history. Braylon did his job on the starting line and at the finish line and took the first round win. Lets see what tomorrow brings for us and the rest of team Maple Grove.
